Meet Yechiel Aharonof
I'm Yechiel Aharonof, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience working with teenage boys, young adults, and men.
My work focuses primarily on pornography and sex addiction, unwanted sexual behaviors, and trauma. I help clients better understand what's driving their struggles, work through underlying emotional issues, and develop practical ways to make meaningful changes in their lives.
I also provide training and presentations for therapists, Rabbanim, Chosson Rabbeim, and educators on understanding and addressing these challenges.
One of the things I've come to recognize through my clinical work is that the behaviors and emotional struggles we see on the surface often have deeper underlying causes.
Rather than focusing only on stopping a behavior or managing a symptom, I work with clients to understand what's driving these struggles in the first place.
My approach combines understanding these underlying issues with developing practical tools to manage difficult emotions, respond differently to urges and triggers, and make meaningful changes that last.
